About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with clients and technical teams to understand software engineering practices and identify opportunities to improve them with agentic engineering
- Define architectures, tools, and approaches for agentic engineering improvements
- Modernize traditional software engineering best practices into Agentic Engineering standards and protocols
- Design, develop, and scale Software Factories and other Agentic Engineering systems
- Translate complex business challenges into pragmatic enterprise solutions
- Facilitate informed technology decisions as a trusted technical partner
- Collaborate hands-on with multidisciplinary teams
- Challenge ideas, review designs, prototype approaches, and solve difficult technical problems
- Shape and evolve Osedea's engineering practices through experimentation, reusable tools and architectures, and knowledge sharing
- Evaluate emerging technologies and adapt approaches as the field evolves
- Design and guide implementation of reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise software using agentic AI architectures
- Shape architectural strategies, guide technical decisions, coach team members, and establish foundations for production enterprise systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in software development and architecture, typically 10+ years
- Strong track record designing complex, distributed, or enterprise-scale systems
- Strong architectural judgment and ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable architectural solutions
- Hands-on experience designing, building, or deploying agentic engineering solutions
- Understanding of challenges in moving agentic engineering solutions from prototypes to production
- Ability to lead technical conversations with senior stakeholders and development teams
- Ability to explain trade-offs clearly and build confidence in recommendations
- Professional communication in both French and English
- Proficiency in agentic architectures, including autonomous and semi-autonomous agents, multi-agent coordination, orchestration, tool execution, planning, memory, and context management
- Proficiency in LLM application development, including foundation models, RAG, embeddings, structured outputs, tool calling, context engineering, A2A, ACP, and MCP
- Experience with LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent approaches
- Strong foundations in distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, integration patterns, authentication, authorization, and enterprise security
- Experience designing and deploying solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including AI services and infrastructure
- Experience designing production AI systems for evaluation, observability, failure recovery, human oversight, reliability, latency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement
- Degree is not required; technical judgment, curiosity, and ability to turn ideas into working systems are emphasized
