About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, test, and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered applications for client projects.
- Design agentic workflows integrating language models, external APIs, tools, and enterprise data.
- Implement tool calling, structured outputs, context management, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Contribute to agent orchestration, workflow automation, and integration with existing software systems.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in accordance with software development best practices.
- Participate in evaluating agent behavior, improving output quality, and resolving reliability and performance issues.
- Collaborate with senior developers, AI specialists, designers, and clients on system design, architecture, and technical decisions.
- Understand client needs and translate them into functional solutions.
- Explore new AI models, tools, and frameworks and share learnings with the team.
- Take ownership of assigned features from development through production release.
Requirements
What you’ll need- More than 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing applications that use large language models, AI APIs, or agentic frameworks, gained through professional projects or substantial personal projects.
- Strong Python programming skills and solid knowledge of backend development, APIs, and software integrations.
- Good understanding of LLM concepts, prompt and context engineering, tool calling, and RAG.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices, including version control, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with cloud services or deploying applications to production.
- A builder mindset and enthusiasm for experimentation, with a strong interest in creating practical solutions and solving technical challenges through initiative and resourcefulness.
- Ability to learn independently, stay current in a rapidly evolving technology environment, and actively contribute to team discussions.
- Comfortable collaborating with people with diverse technical backgrounds and asking questions when needed.
- Programming: Python and general software development best practices.
- LLM integration: using model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini.
- Backend development: APIs, data exchange, external integrations, and asynchronous operations.
- Frontend development: TypeScript or JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
- Agentic concepts: tool calling, orchestration, structured outputs, and context management.
- Data retrieval and search: foundational RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector search.
- Software quality: unit testing, debugging, Git, and code review practices.
- Infrastructure: foundational knowledge of cloud deployment and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
