Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI agents, agentic platforms, and production-grade workflows for complex business challenges
  • Architect systems combining agentic runtimes, LLMs, tool calls, external APIs, enterprise data, and existing applications
  • Develop agent orchestration mechanisms for state management, context engineering, memory, and human-in-the-loop interactions
  • Define and implement evaluation, testing, observability, and monitoring practices to ensure reliability, performance, cost control, and security
  • Make architectural decisions that balance autonomy, predictability, scalability, cost, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to identify innovation opportunities, assess feasibility, and translate business needs into AI solutions
  • Take ownership of technical delivery, from prototyping through deployment and continuous improvement
  • Evaluate new models, frameworks, and development approaches
  • Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the evolution of agentic AI development practices at Osedea

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in software architecture and development
  • Hands-on experience developing agentic systems deployed in production
  • Strong software development and architecture skills, including systems architecture, APIs, asynchronous processing, testing, and cloud deployment
  • Ability to design end-to-end infrastructure, including storage, computing resources, identity management, and access policies
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering AI-powered applications beyond the proof-of-concept stage
  • Good understanding of agentic architectures, including tool use, orchestration, context management, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
  • Experience integrating agentic runtimes, agents, or LLMs with external services, internal systems, and existing enterprise data and infrastructure
  • Ability to assess the quality and reliability of AI systems, diagnose complex behaviors, and make informed technical trade-offs
  • Comfortable working with constantly evolving technologies, tools, standards, and best practices
  • Builder mindset, strong architecture skills, and mastery of the core components of agentic engineering and their integration
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity, explain technical decisions to clients and colleagues, and demonstrate initiative
  • Programming: Python and modern backend development practices
  • LLM integration: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini APIs and SDKs
  • Agent orchestration frameworks: Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph/LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK, or equivalent solutions
  • Agentic runtimes and plugin design: Codex, Claude Code, and Pi
  • Protocols and standards: ACP, MCP, and Skills standards
  • Context engineering and cache hit-rate optimization
  • RAG, embeddings, vector search, graph search, and targeted retrieval mechanisms
  • Function calling, API integrations, and external tool integration patterns
  • Automated testing, agent evaluations, tracing, observability, and error handling
  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services, CI/CD, and production deployment
