About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take an active role in the technical application management of SAP systems
Work closely with the in-house SAP Basis team
Ensure continuous operation of three SAP S/4 system lines
Manage interfaces, job monitoring, and batch processing
Support S/4 upgrades and coordinate SPDD and SPAU comparison activities
Contribute to housekeeping tasks, including data volume management
Set up RFC connections, interfaces, jobs, and master data distribution for internal customers
Automate operational monitoring by setting up alerts
Manage release cycles in ALM tools
Collaborate with colleagues to solve technical challenges and recover jobs
Provide data extracts via DaRT and legacy systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Above three years of experience in technical SAP application management, support, or change and release management is helpful—but not required for all tasks
Willingness to develop skills in technical and operational automation and monitoring
An agile mindset is a fundamental requirement
Openness to change, collaboration, and continuous learning
Strong team spirit, communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Good English skills, written and spoken
First experience with Azure or Jira Boards is nice to have
Basic know-how of the FI module is nice to have
German language skills welcome
