About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide and maintain compute infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring for trading systems
  • Manage associated cloud costs
  • Own the trading platform’s system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance
  • Manage exchange connectivity
  • Provide engineering support across trading infrastructure
  • Roll out coding agents and establish shared agent rules and guardrails
  • Maintain consistent MCP integrations and context documentation across repositories
  • Support Ostrom’s mission as a digital green electricity provider and energy management platform

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • 4+ years of experience in trading infrastructure engineering or a related field
  • Ability to write production-grade code in Python or similar
  • Knowledge of Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and code reviews
  • Hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure, including ECS, Lambda, Firehose, SQS, Postgres, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch
  • Experience with containerization, such as Docker
  • Experience with observability tools, including logging, metrics, and alerting
  • Experience with MLOps and ML infrastructure in cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of system architecture design for high-availability, low-latency systems
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools and AI-assisted workflows
  • Excellent English communication skills at B2–C1 level
