About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve an existing book of middle market commercial clients across construction, manufacturing, automotive, and service-based industries
- Retain current clients
- Share technical expertise about insurance products, coverages, client needs, forms, and proposals
- Complete day-to-day Commercial Lines workflows
- Provide written confirmation of binding policies
- Prepare certificates of insurance, endorsements, and audits
- Conduct renewal marketing
- Present additional coverages based on client needs
- Prepare accurate proposals and summaries of insurance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed as a Property and Casualty insurance agent
- Commercial insurance experience; minimum of 3 years preferred
- Customer service ability
- Comfortable with computers and software
- Applied Epic experience is a plus, but not required
- Candidates must be based in Michigan
- Full-time availability, 40 hours per week
