About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and submit professional claims
  • Correct routine claim errors and rejections
  • Work assigned billing and follow-up queues in Epic
  • Apply foundational knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and payer rules
  • Meet productivity, quality, and timeliness standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with some flexibility after training completion
  • Complete early-morning training starting at 6:30–7:00 a.m.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates must reside and work full-time in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Texas before their first day of employment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Level 1: At least 1 year of Medical Insurance experience
  • Level 2: At least 3 years of professional billing experience required
  • Level 2: CPB required within 1 year of hire date
  • General understanding of HIPAA and/or EOB
  • Experience working with insurance companies
  • Foundational knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and payer rules
  • Ability to meet productivity, quality, and timeliness standards
  • Self-motivated with problem-solving skills
