About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development, implementation and continual improvement of Our Future Health’s management system and quality assurance processes
  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of operational quality assurance activities across the organisation
  • Own and coordinate document control, ensuring controlled documents are maintained, reviewed, approved and accessible
  • Coordinate planning, delivery and follow-up of internal and external audits, assessments and certification activities
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), monitor progress and support timely, effective resolution
  • Maintain quality records and assurance evidence for governance activities and future accreditation requirements
  • Produce quality reports, analysis and management information for governance and organisational decision-making
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to embed quality management practices and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support implementation of new quality processes and assurance initiatives
  • Contribute to development of the Assurance function through collaboration, knowledge sharing and good practice
  • Work with the Quality Assurance Manager and colleagues across Our Future Health

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience supporting quality assurance, quality management, governance, audit or compliance activities within a complex organisation
  • Experience within healthcare, clinical or research environments would be particularly relevant
  • Good understanding of quality management principles, document control and continual improvement approaches
  • Experience coordinating audits, document control, CAPAs or quality improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 15189, ISO 13485 or ISO 27001, or comparable standards
  • Ability to analyse information and turn it into clear, useful reports and management information
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with different stakeholders
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and pragmatic approach to multidisciplinary teams
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Proactive and adaptable approach, with curiosity and interest in continual improvement
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite applications would be useful
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Quality or governance qualification, or working towards one, would be advantageous but is not essential
