About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the operational strategy and priorities for Product Operations
  • Build and develop processes for the Product Manager team
  • Deploy Product Design Operations resources for greatest organizational impact
  • Serve as a senior partner to Product and Design leadership as the organization scales
  • Set processes and operating rhythms for intake, continuous planning, prioritization, portfolio management, and cross-functional product programs
  • Establish visibility into product verticals, priorities, dependencies, capacity, and resource needs
  • Oversee Product headcount planning, load balancing, and budget management
  • Guide systems capturing, synthesizing, and routing customer feedback, reviews, research, and market chatter to Product teams
  • Direct AI-enabled automation and evolution of Product Management practices
  • Establish product reporting, dashboards, and sources of truth
  • Support executive product discussions with narratives, recommendations, and decision materials
  • Ensure effective workshops, planning sessions, and cross-functional forums
  • Build, lead, develop, and allocate the Product Producer team across complex programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience across Product Operations, Product Management, Production, Program Management, or related disciplines, including significant people and organizational leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a Product Operations function and develop high-performing teams supporting complex, cross-functional product organizations
  • Experience working across integrated hardware and software products
  • Strong product and design intuition, with the ability to operate as a trusted strategic partner to senior Product and Design leaders
  • Experience with portfolio planning, resource allocation, headcount planning, and budget management
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complexity into clear narratives, decisions, and recommendations for senior leaders
  • Strong organizational judgment, including the ability to determine where Product Operations involvement will have the greatest impact and when teams should be empowered to execute independently
  • Experience establishing effective strategic planning, facilitation, and decision-making mechanisms across complex organizations
  • Practical curiosity about AI and a track record of adopting tools and processes that improve organizational velocity
  • Strong relationship-building and influence skills across Product, Design, Engineering, and other cross-functional organizations
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and executive communication skills
