About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Win new employer business through consultative, end-to-end sales processes.
- Build, manage, prioritize, and nurture pipelines of employer prospects within health plan programs.
- Lead calls and meetings with external partners and employer stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
- Design nurture approaches for stalled or lost opportunities.
- Improve sales and account-management processes, including sales-to-activation-to-growth handoffs and ordering and fulfillment pathways.
- Serve as a key point of contact for existing healthcare partnerships.
- Monitor account performance and engagement.
- Identify and pursue upsell, expansion, renewal, reactivation, and reference opportunities.
- Gather partner feedback and turn it into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, operations, legal, and other internal teams.
- Represent Oura’s healthcare partnership programs professionally.
- Deliver signed employer accounts, measurable partnership engagement and results, expansion or reactivation revenue, and concrete process improvements within the first 12 months.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in a mix of new-business/net-new sales and post-sale account growth or client success, ideally within digital health, employee benefits, health plans, HR technology, or another enterprise B2B environment with long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- A "fixer" mentality — comfortable operating inside an established process, but always looking for the gap, workaround, or inefficiency and willing to take initiative to fix it.
- Confidence leading external-facing meetings solo, including with senior stakeholders, and executive presence to build trust quickly.
- Track record of improving or scaling an existing sales or account-management motion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate partnership narratives into buyer-specific pitches.
- High personal motivation and follow-through; ability to chase next steps and keep deals moving without heavy oversight.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, legal, and operations partners.
- Comfort with the pace of a fast-growing company where priorities can shift quickly.
- Must reside in the United States, excluding Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
