About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead commercial portfolio management, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and defining investment, expansion, repositioning, and product discontinuation priorities
  • Build and implement short- and medium-term portfolio roadmaps, identifying gaps, needs, and growth opportunities by crop, region, channel, and market segment
  • Monitor product performance indicators, including revenue, margin, profitability, market share, ROI, pricing, and lifecycle
  • Lead periodic portfolio reviews based on financial, strategic, regulatory, and market criteria
  • Develop support and expansion plans for mature products and maximize return on investment throughout the product lifecycle
  • Lead Business Case analyses for new products, acquisitions, licensing agreements, and line extensions
  • Develop financial and strategic scenarios to support decision-making
  • Propose differentiation, positioning, and value-capture strategies
  • Coordinate the new product launch process, from pre-launch through market entry
  • Develop integrated Go-to-Market plans in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Trade Marketing
  • Coordinate portfolio committees and cross-functional teams involving Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain, Industrial Operations, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance
  • Influence stakeholders to ensure the execution of strategic projects and serve as a technical reference for analysts and specialists in the area
  • Monitor market trends, technologies, competitors, and industry developments
  • Support strategic negotiations with partners, suppliers, and technology companies
  • Strengthen the Ourofino brand by promoting the product portfolio and participating in events and activities related to agribusiness
  • Travel frequently as required by the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Work location: Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Availability for frequent travel as required by the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or Agricultural Engineering
  • Solid experience in Product Management, Strategic Marketing, Portfolio Management, Business Development, or Market Development in agribusiness
  • Experience with crop protection products, seeds, biologicals, fertilizers, or agricultural technologies
  • Experience developing Business Cases and conducting financial analyses
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and product launch projects
  • Master’s degree, postgraduate qualification, or MBA in Product Management, Marketing, Business, or Strategy is considered a plus
