About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform penetration tests
- Conduct security research
- Contribute to the security community through responsible disclosure and proof-of-concept work
- Perform verification tests on web applications to help customers confirm vulnerability remediation
- Identify vulnerabilities using human expertise alongside automation
- Conduct web-application retests
- Perform paired testing with senior team members on complex projects
- Develop technical, sales-oriented, or team-management career paths with organizational support
- Participate in training, certifications, off-site activities, and Capture the Flag events
- Collaborate with an international Ghost Labs/Application Security team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed relevant university degree, or relevant professional experience
- IT Security experience, such as CTF events, conferences, CVE/responsible disclosures, or open-source contributions
- Programming/scripting and/or network engineering skills
- Professional English communication skills
- Ability to live near the Karlskrona office or willingness to travel/relocate
- Full, permanent working rights in Sweden
- Passion for technology and security
- Understanding of how things work and how to break them
- Team-player orientation
- Technical skills and interest in computers
