About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Triage and own SOC/NOC boards
  • Investigate SIEM, EDR, and network alerts
  • Detect and contain security incidents
  • Manage patches and firmware using ConnectWise and network consoles
  • Ensure servers, workstations, firewalls, and switches are updated on schedule
  • Build, tune, and expand automated alerting rules across cloud and RMM environments
  • Maintain high detection fidelity, low alert noise, and SLA compliance
  • Audit client environments against SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks
  • Partner with CISO and Compliance leadership to deliver security documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in a SOC, NOC, or multi-tenant MSP/MSSP environment
  • Practical knowledge of incident response, firewalls, and network lifecycle management
  • Ownership of ticket queues and response times
  • Root-cause analysis, log analysis, continuous process improvement, and standard operating procedures
  • Experience with ConnectWise, EDR/SIEM tools, M365/Azure, Google Workspace, and network management consoles
  • Dedicated, distraction-free home office setup
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Availability for scheduled tasks and on-call rotation windows
