About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and build the organization’s end-user systems, including hardware and software components, to support business requirements
- Design end-user information systems aligned with user needs and the overall IT architecture
- Prepare lifecycle validation of end-user systems and solutions to identify technical constraints and assess system capabilities
- Monitor operational end-user system performance to maximize IT resource utilization and ensure efficient functioning
- Design end-user-facing system architecture for current and future business needs
- Design, implement, manage, and support endpoint technologies for the organization and ITS Department
- Manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager for Windows Intel devices, including imaging, patching, and software deployment
- Manage mobile devices, desktop virtualization, print and print server technologies, and related endpoint systems
- Provide Tier III end-user support to Field Services and the organization
- Procure, manage, and deploy cellular devices and pagers
- Collaborate with hardware vendors to select environmental standards
- Collaborate with functional and operational staff and managers on information requirements, project plans, cost estimates, and schedules
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization’s IT goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hybrid Position in Greensboro, NC; required to be within one hour of driving time from Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager for Win Intel Devices, imaging, patching, and software deployment
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with desktop virtualization for Windows 365 and/or Azure Virtual Desktop
- At least 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Print Server Management experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience providing Tier III support, including detailed troubleshooting and resolving issues
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience documenting and maintaining documentation of systems design, configurations, and operational procedures
- Experience collaborating with functional and operational staff and managers to understand information requirements and support development of project plans, cost estimates, and schedules
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving system issues
- Experience keeping required certification and/or licensure up to date with no expiration
- Availability to work rotational on-call off-hours support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote/hybrid work
- Stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work
- HIPAA-compliant work environment for remote work, including secure workspace, no public Wi-Fi unless connected through a secure company-provided VPN, and compliance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management, WorkSpace One
- Plus: hands-on experience procuring, managing, and deploying cellular devices and pagers
