About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate client needs into reporting solutions
- Work with clients and internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs, gather requirements, and define use cases
- Define and communicate precise data requirements to engineering partners
- Collaborate with engineering on dataset and pipeline needs, including Dagster and Airflow orchestration
- Create and review proposals with key stakeholders to roll out reporting solutions quickly
- Bridge design and development in Tableau while upholding data visualization best practices and client standards
- Apply a UI/UX lens to visualizations and maintain a consistent, scalable approach
- Onboard new clients onto reporting platforms and EMRge MMM
- Design, develop, test, and deploy reporting and software solutions
- Take new features from beta through general availability and maintain existing solutions
- Own technical requirements, evaluation plans, test results, recommendations, and other documentation
- Follow engineering best practices for code quality, documentation, deployment, and testing
- Troubleshoot reporting and software issues independently, escalating and collaborating as needed
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production systems
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools while maintaining code quality and security
- Share technical expertise and guide teammates as needed
- Participate in knowledge sharing and stay current on emerging technology and engineering practices
- Explore and champion tools and technologies that improve team workflows
- Contribute to team culture and professional development
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years building enterprise products in reporting, data, and/or analytics
- Experience writing, updating, and optimizing SQL queries to develop datasets
- Proven analytical skillset and ability to derive insights from large datasets and present findings appropriately
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, for client-facing reporting
- Familiarity with orchestration tools, such as Dagster and Airflow
- Organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Technical acumen and desire to work within a technical environment
- Familiarity working with technical and business teams, including presenting technical requirements to non-technical audiences
- Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure
- Preferred: experience with iterative development and Agile methodologies, including SAFe or similar scaled frameworks
- Preferred: experience with or strong curiosity about AI-assisted tools for data analysis and visualization
- Preferred: familiarity with Python or other data processing and analysis tools
- Preferred: experience in a digital marketing role or agency
- Preferred: familiarity with advanced marketing return methodologies such as Multi-Touch Attribution and Media Mix Modeling
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer on a full-time basis
- Must not have current or future need for visa sponsorship
