About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the release lifecycle, including planning, coordination, tracking, and communication
- Ensure the consistency and reliability of transport processes across application environments (SAP and non-SAP)
- Define and continuously improve version management standards in collaboration with project and run teams
- Implement and administer ALM tools (SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, Git, etc.)
- Prepare and lead cutover phases, including planning, coordination, risk management, and communication
- Produce and maintain documentation, including release roadmaps, checklists, quality reports, and best-practice guides
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 to 8 years of experience in Release Management and/or application transport management
- Master’s degree (engineering school, university, or equivalent)
- Initial experience in a consulting or client advisory environment
- Proficiency with SAP ALM and DevOps tools (Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Git, Jenkins, etc.)
- Strong understanding of SAP environments and/or complex application landscapes
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- ITIL, DevOps, or SAP certification
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- A keen interest in continuous improvement and the industrialization of practices
