Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Two (2) years of work experience in cash posting, credits or insurance billing in a healthcare environment required
Two years post high school education preferred
Five years’ experience preferred
Knowledge of insurance claims processing and third-party reimbursement procedures preferred
Knowledge of Federal, State and third-party payer billing requirements preferred
Good oral and written communication skills
Interpersonal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate initiative and willingly accept responsibility while contributing to a team environment
Ability to deal effectively with difficult people and/or difficult situations, including families of deceased individuals
Ability to set priorities and use good judgment
Washington State residency required
