About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own day-to-day commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, insertion orders (IOs), influencer agreements, and data processing agreements (DPAs)
- Manage compliance operations, including DPIAs, KYC processes, privacy reviews, and compliance questionnaires
- Monitor relevant regulatory developments and implement compliance procedures covering GDPR, DSA, COPPA, OFAC, and AI regulation
- Maintain and improve legal policies, templates, playbooks, and internal guidance
- Support business teams through legal training, check-ins, and an efficient legal intake process
- Leverage AI tools for legal drafting, reviews, and operational workflows, and help build and improve these tools
- Gradually take ownership of more complex commercial and strategic legal matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of legal experience, ideally including ownership of compliance workstreams
- LLB or equivalent law degree and relevant legal qualification
- Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Solid understanding of privacy and technology regulation, particularly GDPR
- Experience working in-house, on secondment, or at a law firm supporting fast-moving technology companies
- Proficiency and confidence in using AI tools as part of everyday legal work
- Practical, business-oriented mindset with strong ownership, prioritization, and communication skills
- Familiarity with DSA and COPPA regulations
- Experience in gaming, adtech, payments, fintech, or other technology-driven environments
- Ability to navigate complex regulations and tricky contracts
