About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Tailor and deploy Owkin’s K Pro agentic AI platform to client needs
- Implement analytical workflows and integrate the platform into clients’ existing workflows
- Translate complex biological and operational questions into computational workflows
- Analyze clinical and multi-omics data using computational biology methodologies
- Rapidly prototype and iterate with users to validate solutions
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers, data scientists, biologists, and software engineers
- Communicate scientific insights to clinicians, biologists, and technical engineering teams
- Participate in a team-wide on-call rotation
- Work directly with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
- Spend time at customer premises and travel internationally to client sites and the Owkin Paris office
Requirements
What you’ll need- MSc/PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven expertise and impact analyzing complex data, including real-world clinical data and multimodal omics (bulk, spatial/single-cell, proteomics) and high-throughput experimental data
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology and at least one major therapeutic area
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environments, manage ambiguity, and drive progress toward delivery
- Very strong programming skills in Python
- Ability to conduct exploratory analyses and data visualizations
- Ability to write clean, production-grade code
- Strong familiarity with coding agents
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks such as scikit-learn and XGBoost
- Exceptional ability to translate scientific complexity for non-technical stakeholders
- Frequent international travel and ability to be based near a major international airport or major train station
- Comfortable speaking and writing English daily
- Participation in a team-wide on-call rotation
- Experience in a Biotech/Pharma environment and understanding of the Pharma drug discovery pipeline preferred
- Demonstrated ability to write production-level code in deployed products preferred
