About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create purchase orders for indirect materials and services based on the needs of internal departments
Develop, select, qualify, and request supplier registration in collaboration with the relevant departments
Issue purchase orders and contracts in the system in accordance with the requirements and approval thresholds established in the Procurement Policy
Send purchase orders and follow up with suppliers
Contribute to the strategic objectives of the department and assigned category portfolio by sourcing, onboarding, and managing suppliers, materials, and services
Manage suppliers’ operational and financial performance, ensuring competitive costs and appropriate service levels
Identify and monitor savings strategies for materials and services
Monitor and ensure excellence in the execution of procurement transactions, including orders, deliveries, and invoices
Analyze, source, and implement supply agreements, contracts, and price catalogs for consistently demanded items

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in procurement or supply chain
Experience in indirect procurement (HR, IT, Facilities, Marketing, Supply Chain, among others) is preferred
Bachelor’s degree completed
Knowledge of and experience with the Strategic Sourcing methodology
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of ERP systems (Nimbi) and SAP MM is preferred
