About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define end-to-end architecture for web and mobile applications across front-end, back-end, integration, and infrastructure layers
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures
- Partner with UX/UI designers to support seamless, intuitive, and accessible experiences
- Establish design patterns, best practices, and architecture governance
- Evaluate frameworks, tools, and platforms and provide build-versus-buy recommendations
- Mentor development teams and guide implementation of architectural designs
- Align Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Design stakeholders
- Conduct architecture reviews, performance audits, and risk assessments
- Drive microservices, API-first design, responsive and adaptive design, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture
- Ensure performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Monitor emerging web, mobile, and UX technologies and recommend improvements
- Contribute technical thought leadership to pre-sales, client presentations, and stakeholder discussions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of progressive software architecture experience, with a strong focus on web and mobile platforms
- Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, high-traffic web and mobile applications end-to-end
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and design thinking
- Hands-on expertise with React, Angular, or Vue
- Experience with React Native, Flutter, or other native, hybrid, or cross-platform mobile development approaches
- Experience with back-end architecture, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of responsive design, WCAG accessibility standards, and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile or Scrum software development lifecycles
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Leadership in mentoring engineering teams and driving architectural governance
- Preferred: consulting, digital agency, or enterprise product organization experience
- Preferred: familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Preferred: performance optimization, security architecture, and scalability planning experience
- Preferred: AWS or Azure Solutions Architect or TOGAF certifications
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
