About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments
- Create virtual machines and manage Windows roles and features
- Analyze logs and conduct the necessary investigations in the event of an incident
- Administer Debian Linux environments, including VM creation, updates, and network configuration
- Administer Active Directory and Entra ID environments
- Work with Microsoft 365 and Intune
- Administer VMware ESXi virtualized environments
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of VMware VMs and templates
- Provide Level 2 technical support and troubleshoot incidents
- Work with network environments, including DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Monitor backups and manage tapes using Veeam
- Perform infrastructure updates as part of day-to-day operations
- Update existing documentation and create new documents as needed
- Create and administer SharePoint accounts, including access rights management
- Collaborate daily with the onsite N1 support technician
- Communicate in English with the US IT team
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in systems administration
- Proficiency in Windows Server, particularly VM creation, adding roles and features, and log analysis
- Proficiency in Debian Linux, including VM creation, updates, and network configuration
- Proficiency in Active Directory / Entra ID
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 / Intune
- Proficiency in VMware ESXi, particularly VM creation and updates
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Proficiency in Veeam, particularly backup monitoring and tape management
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and Level 2 support
- Minimum B2 level of English
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Knowledge of Palo Alto, Meraki, Centreon, PowerShell, Proxmox, and SSO principles is a plus
- Curious, self-sufficient, proactive, and eager to develop new skills
