About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage enterprise-wide IT hardware assets including PCs, iPhones, iPads, servers, and network gear
  • Maintain an accurate CMDB and AMDB in ServiceNow
  • Lead a global team to ensure uniformity and proper regulation of hardware asset handling
  • Procure hardware and gather procurement, hardware, EOL, EOS, contract, warranty, and financial data
  • Review and analyze ServiceNow incidents and requests related to hardware assets
  • Validate data across systems of record
  • Prepare and distribute predefined and ad-hoc reports
  • Identify hardware suitable for harvesting or replacement with lower-cost alternatives
  • Govern global teams to ensure HAM processes are followed
  • Analyze PC deployment numbers by manufacturer and model
  • Provide insights for PC, iPhone, and iPad replacement schedules
  • Monitor asset changes throughout their lifecycle and alert relevant stakeholders
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain asset data integrity
  • Identify and report issues with Flexera, ServiceNow, and supporting asset-tracking systems
  • Develop and maintain Hardware Asset Management program and process documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience in hardware management, associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Prior experience with Flexera, ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune, and Nexthink
  • Solid understanding of IT Asset Management software management policies, procedures, and practices
  • Experience using HAM tools to update the AMDB and CMDB and manually reconcile data
  • Experience with data analysis tools including Excel and Power BI
  • Familiarity with contract/agreement review and accurate interpretation
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
  • Detail- and task-oriented, with ability to see the broader picture
  • Solid interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and relationship skills
  • IAITAM certifications such as CSAM or CAMP preferred, but not required
  • ITIL, COBIT, or IAITAM certifications desirable, but not mandatory
  • Travel required 25%
