About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather and document business requirements with SMEs and domain leaders
- Develop and maintain requirement artifacts, including epics, features, and supporting documentation
- Review IT-authored user stories and tasks for alignment with business requirements
- Identify use cases and functional impacts across systems and processes
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Technology Leads on solution scope, dependencies, and delivery sequencing
- Support identification of delivery teams and solution components
- Participate in business validation of solution designs
- Support RFP activities by documenting requirements, use cases, and evaluation materials
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing plans and test cases
- Coordinate UAT activities with business and technology stakeholders
- Track, manage, and communicate UAT defects, issues, and retesting status
- Contribute to business communication, change management, training, and procedure update materials
- Validate requirements, test outcomes, and user impacts for business readiness
- Communicate risks, issues, or gaps to cross-functional partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst or similar role supporting Annuity and Life Insurance New Business technology-enabled initiatives
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements with stakeholder input
- Hands-on experience supporting UAT planning, execution, and issue tracking
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and dependencies
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
