About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze complex business needs and translate them into actionable technology requirements
  • Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs, write user stories, and align deliverables with business goals
  • Design workflow solutions using platforms such as Appian or similar technologies
  • Facilitate cross-functional design sessions
  • Collaborate with Digital Transformation and Technology teams on enterprise initiatives
  • Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and demos
  • Lead user acceptance testing by identifying scenarios, managing communication, and overseeing execution
  • Provide post-implementation production support
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams
  • Assist with change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business or systems analysis, preferably in an enterprise IT environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and communicate technical concepts to business users
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with sprint planning and backlog grooming
  • Experience with workflow platforms such as Appian or Pega
  • Familiarity with low-code or no-code platforms
  • Experience working on enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of Pacific Life’s business operations or the insurance/financial services industry
  • Executive Benefits experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and take initiative across teams
