About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and API integrations.
  • Monitor environments, improve existing monitoring, and create new monitoring approaches.
  • Monitor and optimize application environment performance.
  • Document application, integration, and related processes.
  • Collaborate with the team on architecture planning and the development of new projects.
  • Participate in improvements to the team’s technical development processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networks, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Python frameworks, including CLI applications, asyncio, Flask API, and FastAPI.
  • Experience with Python libraries, including Requests, Loguru, Kafka-Python, cx_Oracle, mysql-connector, PyMongo, and other database connectors.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Experience with observability tools, such as Prometheus/Grafana, the ELK Stack, Splunk, or equivalent platforms.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of container orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with the product delivery lifecycle, using Jenkins, Kubernetes, GitHub, or equivalent tools.
  • Proficiency with code version control tools and platforms such as Git.
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms, such as AWS, OCI, or equivalent services.
  • Knowledge of Kafka consumers.
