About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide exceptional customer service and virtual care through live messaging, video, phone, and/or email
Document patient interactions in the EMR
Follow and apply clinically validated triage protocols
Provide high-quality customer service to patients and providers
Complete basic nursing responsibilities, outpatient testing, and medication-related tasks
Troubleshoot technology with patients
Support a seamless patient call center experience
Coordinate lab orders, prescription orders, radiology tests, and other aspects of patient care
Work on projects that optimize operational efficiency and improve the telemedicine experience
Help identify technology needs that improve patient experience
Perform additional assigned projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be based in Puerto Rico
Active, unencumbered RN license in Puerto Rico
Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Must be a permanent resident of Puerto Rico
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical/bedside hospital setting
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, spoken and written
Available for one weekend per month and some holidays
Able to complete a 4-week, full-time Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. onboarding period
Flexible to work a variety of shifts as needed
Hands-on RN experience in ER/ED, ICU, Stepdown, Telemetry, Med-Surg, Oncology, and/or Float highly preferred
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish by speaking, reading, and writing
Ability to use critical thinking in new and challenging situations
Mastery of oral and written language and strong typing skills
Ability to assess and communicate with patients via a text-based platform
Enthusiasm for and adaptability to new technology
Prior call center experience highly preferred
