About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, reach and book investors behind opportunities on Pairs
- Find investors matching opportunities by stage, sector, check size and recent activity
- Qualify investor lists before outreach
- Write personalized outreach messages and convert replies into calls
- Book qualified investors into meetings with founders and provide relevant context
- Log every conversation, meeting and outcome accurately
- Manage investor conversations and learn which investors are ready to commit capital
- Work directly with the two co-founders and investor team
- Follow the established process for screening opportunities and managing relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as an analyst in investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate finance or capital advisory
- Experience building investor or buyer lists on live processes
- Ability to distinguish a long list from a qualified list and explain the qualification process
- Ability to write short, specific messages to busy investors that generate replies
- Ability to maintain a high pace without compromising quality
- Ability to follow a process independently
- Discretion when handling investor information; applicants must not include investor names
- Daily use of AI tools with judgment about appropriate use
- Comfortable booking 10 or more investor meetings per week and following a set process
