About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work directly with customers to understand their greatest problems
Design and implement data-driven solutions using Palantir’s platforms
Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects in small teams
Discuss architecture with fellow engineers
Wrangle massive-scale data
Code custom web applications
Speak with customer executives
Establish strategy for the team
Work autonomously and make independent decisions
Collaborate internally with FDSEs, product teams, and Deployment Strategists
Work externally with customers, often on site, to understand and solve their problems
Learn and develop new technologies and languages

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics
Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
Strong coding ability with demonstrated proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages
Understanding of how technical decisions impact users
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives and user-driven iteration
Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision
Willingness and interest to travel as needed
Active US Security Clearance at or above the Secret level
Experience with logistics, materiel, sustainment, aviation, or readiness analysis is a plus
