About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement, design, and maintain physical security systems protecting people, assets, intellectual property, and reputation
- Research and evaluate security technology, infrastructure, policies, procedures, systems, and applications
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop and maintain end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery
- Work with security professionals, architects, lawyers, software engineers, and network engineers
- Lead physical security projects globally
- Design and oversee technical project aspects from conception through full deployment
- Work with vendors and end users to troubleshoot and maintain systems
- Apply system and software engineering skills to support Global Safety and Security teams
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures, protocols, and security standards
- Schedule, test, and implement server operating-system enhancements and new releases
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Present project updates, status reports, and risk summaries to leadership
- Ensure deliverables meet internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Validate security controls before project closure
- Prioritize tasks across competing deadlines and manage scope changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years' experience maintaining, installing, managing, and problem-solving on security systems and related technologies
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
- Proficiency with enterprise Video Management Systems
- Proficiency with enterprise Physical Access Control Systems
- Proficiency with Intruder Detection Systems
- Proficiency with Communication Systems and security hardware
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience supporting Global Security Operations Centers, offices, and remote outposts
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics
- Active TS security clearance or willingness and eligibility to obtain one is a plus
- Ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Willingness and interest to travel up to 25% of the time, including to domestic and international offices
- Ability to work in the state in which employed for exceptional remote roles
