About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage relationships with national strategic partners to increase revenue, market share, and partnership depth
  • Create and execute national and localized business plans and sales execution plans
  • Work with Regional Channel Business Managers, Channel SEs, partner personnel, and stakeholders to drive growth in the Pellera and NWN–Palo Alto Networks partnerships
  • Drive all aspects of partner relationships and maximize growth opportunities
  • Ensure partners are positioned to deliver successful customer implementations and recommendations
  • Build executive relationships and trust with partner Alliances, Sales, and Technical teams
  • Simplify technical messaging to drive platform adoption among joint customers
  • Build partner services offerings and develop partnerships at portfolio companies
  • Drive metrics-based performance and create services based on emerging and established technologies
  • Communicate consistently across the region with dedicated partners
  • Lead regular business performance and relationship reviews with senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; MBA a plus
  • 10+ years experience in Business Management, Channel Management, or Business Development roles within the enterprise software ecosystem, network security industry, and/or Cloud industry
  • Excellent instincts and ability to interface from senior leadership to individual contributor level
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
  • Successful track record of exceeding performance objectives
  • Understanding of channel operating models
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing, and solution development
  • Strong initiative and ability to think creatively
  • Excellent presentation, written, and overall communication skills
  • Track record of leading complex sales situations through negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Ability to perform in a virtual team environment
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Reliable transportation for business meetings and events
  • Valid driver’s license if driving in connection with company business
