About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor for key focus partners
  • Collaborate with channel sales peers to develop joint business plans and identify growth opportunities for partner-led Cortex expansion
  • Plan, build, and deliver technical training, workshops, and webinars
  • Enable partner engineering and architecture teams on Cortex architectures, integration processes, and deployment best practices
  • Establish technical relationships and trust with partner engineering teams
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance, enablement materials, and architectural guidance
  • Act as a feedback conduit between partners and Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D
  • Keep partners updated on product roadmaps, cybersecurity trends, and competitive positioning
  • Maintain records of partner technical engagements, enablement milestones, and pipeline impact
  • Report progress regularly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting experience within Security Operations, including SIEM, SOAR, and XDR/EDR solutions
  • Proven track record working with National partners, Systems Integrators, or distributors
  • Deep understanding of channel sales models and partner ecosystems
  • Hands-on and architectural knowledge of SOC workflows, threat hunting, and incident response processes
  • Technical proficiency in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, SOC/Endpoint, or Cloud Security
  • Hands-on capability with product installations, configurations, solution architectures, and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to train, mentor, and build technical expertise within partner organizations
  • Proficient in English
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM technology design, deployment, or pre-sales preferred
  • Prior experience enabling partners on SaaS and multi-product solutions preferred
  • Experience with service delivery, Professional Services, MSSP, or SP preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering, or equivalent practical/military experience preferred
  • Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not sponsor work visas
