About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Demonstrate the value of Idira identity security solutions to prospective and current public sector customers
Conduct demos, presentations, meetings, architecture reviews, and Proof of Concepts
Serve as the technical resource and product advocate for the field sales force
Drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process
Design optimal solutions for complex customer infrastructure and datacenter environments
Provide technical guidance to public sector organizations and partners
Develop technical relationships within prospective accounts, partners, and active customers
Plan, execute, and manage Proof of Concept evaluations
Assist with RFP and RFI preparation and responses
Build and maintain relationships with technical teams and executive stakeholders
Support and enable the Idira partner network
Represent Idira at industry events, partner seminars, trade shows, and marketing initiatives
Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Professional Services, and other internal teams
Contribute to internal teams and mentor others when appropriate
Travel less than 50% for client meetings and industry events

Requirements

What you’ll need

MIS/Computer Science degree or equivalent experience required
5+ years of experience in a presales technical role
Experience with identity management or security technologies ideally
Ability to build relationships at multiple levels and work cross-organizationally
Leadership and consensus-building skills
Experience or strong understanding of public sector IT environments
Familiarity with FIPS, FedRAMP, ATOs, STIGs/hardening, NIST 800-53, security accreditation processes, and public sector procurement procedures
Knowledge of identity security, Identity and Access Management, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, authentication, authorization, and encryption
Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration
Experience with LDAP, AD, Federation, and Bridging
Familiarity with UNIX/Linux systems
Experience with IaaS/PaaS administration and support in AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly desirable
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP or CEH are highly desirable
Prior Idira software experience or relevant enterprise, security, systems, identity, or policy management experience is preferred
Must not require immigration sponsorship; employer will not sponsor work visas
