About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, deploy, and configure Palo Alto Networks virtualized appliances, including VM-Series, CN-Series, and Prisma Cloud, across AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud infrastructures
Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts for deployment, scaling, and operational management
Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to customer engineering teams and executive stakeholders
Translate enterprise requirements into scalable, secure cloud network architectures
Manage technical milestones against statements of work and ensure deployments, testing, and handoffs are completed on schedule
Collaborate with Consulting Engineers on DevOps and architectural best practices
Liaise with Palo Alto Networks TAC to resolve tier-3/tier-4 escalation issues
Produce architecture diagrams, runbooks, and handover documentation
Lead technical workstreams or distributed delivery teams
Travel to client sites for onsite deployment, workshops, and architectural reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 6 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise workloads across public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)
Experience architecting solutions in enterprise or service provider environments using VMware NSX, OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience integrating network security solutions within large-scale distributed architectures
Strong foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, TLS/SSL, and IPsec
Proficiency with Python, Terraform, or Ansible
Professional-level public cloud certification in at least one major platform
Experience leading complex technical workstreams, multi-phase client delivery, and competing project deliverables
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Willingness to travel 15–20% to client sites
Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not sponsor work visas
Preferred: advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, VMware VCAP-NV, or Palo Alto Networks PCNSE/PCDRA
Preferred: experience with AWS CloudFormation/CDK or Azure Bicep/ARM
Preferred: familiarity with LLM architectures, agentic frameworks, and emerging security paradigms for AI applications
