About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the strategy, growth, and team execution of the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) partner segment across North America
  • Manage a team of partner development managers and collaborate with key MSSP partners
  • Develop, refine, and execute the portfolio sales strategy and go-to-market model for the MSSP segment
  • Drive net new business and recurring managed service revenue growth
  • Direct co-development of joint managed security offers aligned with market challenges, partner capabilities, and strategic platform goals
  • Oversee executive relationship management and establish operating and governance rhythms across top MSSP partnerships
  • Recruit, hire, retain, and develop a high-performing MSSP account management team
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career pathing
  • Support shaping, negotiating, and closing complex security engagements
  • Collaborate with Field Sales, Business Development, Services, Marketing, Legal, and Product leadership
  • Manage territory planning, quota allocation, and product, marketing, and enablement resource investments
  • Foster career development, engagement, results, and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in direct people management and leading sales/partner development teams
  • Track record of hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing talent
  • Deep understanding of the MSSP business model and managed security offerings, including SOC-as-a-Service, MDR, and XDR
  • Knowledge of current cybersecurity market trends
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed revenue and pipeline targets in high-tech or cybersecurity environments
  • Exceptional executive relationship management, complex deal structuring, and sales-cycle coaching skills
  • Ability to navigate Sales Ops, Marketing, Product, and Legal departments to secure resources and align strategy
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence (EQ)
  • Ability to lead a remote/hybrid team effectively
  • Ability to travel as needed for partner engagements, executive meetings, and team alignment events

  • Reliable transportation for business meetings and events if driving for company business
