About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations to create excitement around Palo Alto Networks technology
  • Use knowledge of workforce operating systems and security concepts to understand customer needs and align them with Palo Alto Networks solutions
  • Plan and execute proof-of-concept evaluations with prospective customers
  • Position Palo Alto Networks value and differentiators to achieve the technical win
  • Document customer interactions in Salesforce
  • Provide ongoing customer feedback to the product management team and influence product direction
  • Build customer trust through endpoint and user security expertise
  • Present and evangelize at tradeshows and customer events
  • Work closely with the sales organization and prospective and current customers throughout sales cycles
  • Establish product value through demos, presentations, meetings, and POCs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of advanced working knowledge of 2 of 3 primary workstation/server operating systems: Windows, MacOS, Linux
  • Prior experience working primarily with endpoint/workstation products or solutions in a sales capacity
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint and identity management technologies, including Active Directory, Intune, SCCM/MECM, Jamf, and endpoint troubleshooting
  • Strong presentation skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of security concepts and development of security roles meeting functional, technical, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment; adaptability
  • Proven ability to run technical discovery, design solutions, deliver demonstrations, answer RFPs, and support complex sales opportunities
  • Ability to travel as needed (<30%)
  • Experience navigating enterprise-scale sales cycles preferred
  • Experience working with REST APIs using scripts or no-code/low-code systems
