About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assume functional responsibility for the stable operation and continued development of the central data warehouse and ETL landscape
- Analyze data and process incidents and oversee sustainable resolution of underlying issues
- Moderate ad hoc solution sessions during day-to-day operations
- Drive the strategy for strengthening in-house technical expertise in data storage and dashboard design, for example in Tableau
- Serve as the central point of contact for Finance and Risk Management
- Gather requirements, maintain the backlog, and prioritize implementation in a hybrid/agile working environment
- Coordinate collaboration with external service providers and internal stakeholders
- Support the continuous optimization of the data platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT qualification; career changers with substantial professional experience are also welcome
- Experience with ETL processes and data models
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau is desirable
- Confident working with ITIL processes, particularly incident and change management
- Experience working in agile environments
- Very good German language skills, at least B2 level and ideally C1
- Willingness to take on responsibility
- Service-oriented mindset
- Ability to confidently represent the backlog to a range of stakeholders
