About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Disciplinary and functional leadership of a four-person DevOps team in Germany
  • Establishment of the DevOps function, supporting the growth and professional development of team members
  • Technical sparring and mentoring

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally in a mid-sized company
  • Experience successfully establishing or managing DevOps structures
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS and Terraform
  • Proficiency with Ansible
  • Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Strong Linux skills
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks and modern CI/CD processes
  • Preference for pragmatic solutions over rigid models
  • Authentic leadership personality with strong mediation skills
  • Open, respectful communication on equal footing
  • Fluent German and English skills
