About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the safety of the nursing unit(s)/hospitals
  • Direct all nursing service activities for the assigned hospital
  • Make recommendations for staff/patient ratios
  • Maintain a system to determine and provide adequate staffing for appropriate nursing care
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and administration
  • Promote staff productivity
  • Develop and implement nursing service policies and procedures in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedures and accreditation standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must possess RN licensure in good standing in the state where the hospital resides
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience is required
  • Three (3) years of experience in nursing management is preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS required
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Certification in a specified field preferred (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN)
