About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a resource for management and an employee champion
  • Assess and anticipate HR-related needs and formulate partnerships across the organization
  • Deliver value-added HR services to management and employees aligned with organizational business objectives and culture
  • Administer, coordinate, and evaluate HR policies, programs, and practices within assigned hospital(s)
  • Serve as the face of HR at the hospital level and in the community
  • Plan, organize, develop, implement, coordinate, and manage complex human resource interventions
  • Manage benefits, compensation, employment, employee development, employee relations, employment regulations, hiring, firing, disciplinary matters, and related activities
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion over the human resources functions of assigned facility/facilities
  • Make significant human resource decisions within the facility or provide recommendations to the facility CEO and/or corporate HR

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; extensive related HR experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Three to five years of related experience with progressive responsibilities within the human resource function required
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • PHR or SPHR Certification or equivalent preferred
