About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Screen patient admissions
- Communicate patient information to the physician to determine whether the patient meets the level of care
- Work closely with the nursing department, clinical staff, and Intake department to ensure timely patient admissions

- Work under the direction of the Director of Assessments and Referrals
Requirements
What you’ll need- RN required
- Must be licensed in the state in which the hospital resides
- BLS required
- Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required
- Understanding of behavioral healthcare and the freestanding industry
- Experience in interviewing, assessments, patient-family centered care, and admission requirements based on established hospital criteria
- 2–3 years of experience in admissions preferred
