About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
- Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
- Participate in interdisciplinary planning
- Coordinate discharge planning
- Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
- Access community resources
- Work under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Holds current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification is required
- Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required
- One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required
- PRN Tier 2: provide 6 shift availability per month
- PRN Tier 3: provide 8 shift availability per month
- Both PRN tiers must include 1 full weekend per month, 2 major holidays, and 1 minor holiday
