About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate department equipment
- Perform general maintenance of the facility and equipment
- Perform duties in accordance with applicable standards to maintain a safe environment of care for employees, patients, and visitors of all ages
- Provide security in the absence of a security officer
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- General Maintenance background experience required
- Electrical maintenance license preferred but not required; can train
- Hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate department equipment and perform general facility and equipment maintenance
- Ability to comply with applicable standards to provide a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors
- Ability to perform security duties in the absence of a security officer
