About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services
  • Work under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
  • Provide care within the limits of the Patient Care Technician position
  • Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Support patient recovery and compassionate care as part of the hospital care team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Current BLS certification is required
  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
  • Ability to perform patient care activities within the limits of the position
  • Must not administer medications or therapy
  • Must not assume independent responsibility for patient care
  • Must follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
