About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by Medical Staff
- Routinely visit patients
- Counsel patients with nutritional needs
- Participate in hospital, patient, and community education
- Participate in outpatient programs
- Assist with maintaining the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan
Requirements
What you’ll need- Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed by the State of Louisiana to practice Dietetics
- 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Rehabilitation experience is a plus
