About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising patient care
  • Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning
  • Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization

  • Oversee dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse duties when applicable

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior dialysis experience required
  • RN License in the state you are applying
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment
  • ACLS certification required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU
  • NNCC certification is preferred but not required
