About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee infrastructure construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality for on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Lead project administration activities including RFIs, submittals, change management, pay applications, and closeout documentation
  • Coordinate with contractors, clients, agencies, and internal disciplines to resolve issues and maintain project progress
  • Maintain and review project documentation and reporting to track progress, compliance, and risks
  • Promote job site safety and oversee applicable environmental compliance requirements
  • Lead and mentor project staff and coordinate workloads
  • Facilitate startup/commissioning activities, punch lists, and coordination with document control, survey, environmental, and land acquisition teams
  • Support constructability reviews and value engineering efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 6 years of progressive construction management experience
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated capability leading project teams and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of project controls, documentation, and construction administration processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with overtime as needed
