About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver high-quality work within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
  • Manage project execution, including scopes, budgets, schedules, risks, deliverables, and resource coordination across concurrent assignments
  • Provide technical leadership and quality oversight for plans, reports, calculations, specifications, estimates, and other technical documentation
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary team members, subconsultants, clients, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
  • Support business development and pursuit activities, including scopes, proposals, qualifications, interviews, teaming, and client development
  • Mentor and develop engineers, designers, analysts, and technical staff
  • Oversee accountability for deadlines, productivity, responsiveness, quality, and financial stewardship
  • Provide strategic leadership for major transportation programs, schematics, and complex roadway solutions
  • Direct and coordinate roadway, drainage, traffic, structures, and utility teams
  • Oversee constructability reviews, risk management, and technical issue resolution
  • Represent the firm at public meetings, hearings, and community outreach events
  • Lead transportation pursuits, pricing strategies, and client interviews

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects from conception through completion (6 preferred)
  • Ability to manage project scope, budgets, schedules, teams, deliverables, and client expectations
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
