About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own PAQATO's product strategy, product vision, and roadmap, ensuring product decisions support company goals
  • Prioritize the delivery backlog and make informed trade-off decisions among customer needs, technical effort, economic feasibility, and strategic value
  • Conduct customer conversations, discovery interviews, and requirements analyses
  • Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable tickets for the development team
  • Serve as the primary contact for development questions and assess technical and functional feasibility with the Tech Lead and UX
  • Guide features from conception through implementation, testing, QA, acceptance, and release
  • Coordinate go-to-market and launch communications with Customer Success and Marketing
  • Create or coordinate release notes, product documentation, and customer-facing product communications
  • Analyze the market, competition, and customer feedback to identify product development opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with executive management, Tech, UX, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing
  • Ensure transparency regarding priorities, progress, and decisions
  • Use modern tools, AI applications, and automation to make product work more efficient, structured, and effective

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed university studies in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience with strategic product responsibility, roadmap work, and market positioning
  • Proficiency in backlog management, prioritization, and writing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Good technical understanding of web applications, APIs, and data models
  • Willingness to test, critically review, and formally accept features
  • Structured, independent, solution-oriented, and hands-on working style
  • Ability to confidently lead meetings, align stakeholders, moderate discussions, and bring people together
  • Knowledge of agile methods such as Kanban or Scrum
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, or comparable systems
  • Enjoyment of conducting customer conversations and deriving product improvements from user needs
  • Confident use of LLM tools, AI applications, and workflow automation, or strong interest in actively using them
  • Negotiation-level German and good English
  • Nice to have: experience in e-commerce, shipping, post-purchase communication, or logistics
  • Nice to have: experience with product metrics and collaboration with Data Analytics teams
  • Nice to have: experience with mockups or prototypes, for example in Figma or AI-supported tools
  • Nice to have: experience with information security, data protection, or ISMS topics
  • Nice to have: basic knowledge of GitHub or technical product workflows
  • Nice to have: experience creating product videos, help documentation, or release communications
  • Nice to have: experience guiding working students or junior team members
