About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy
- Provide interventions, often in clients’ homes, to support healthy relationships and address family priorities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and care managers
- Connect clients with community resources including housing, childcare, food security, and employment supports
- Facilitate educational and vocational training support
- Support youth skill building and develop parenting strategies
- Adapt therapeutic techniques to evolving client needs
- Maintain documentation, ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity
- Contribute to professional growth and care-team effectiveness
- Provide 16–20 direct service hours per week
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field (required)
- Within one month of employment must obtain a preliminary clinical license
- Provisional licensure such as LPCC, LSW, or LMFTC, or fully licensed LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- All licenses must stay up to date and valid during employment
- Minimum 2 years in behavioral health/clinical service preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, depending on location
- Valid driver’s license
- Auto insurance
- Willingness to travel to homes and communities
- Requires living in or near the location of the posting
- Required availability for 2–3 evenings per week (4–7pm) or 3–4 weekend hours
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in child, adolescent, and family therapy
- Capacity to manage crisis situations and respond with appropriate interventions
- Competence in care coordination and resource navigation for social determinants of health
- Commitment to trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices
- Organizational skills for timely documentation and case management
- Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA
